The third of ten children, I was born and raised by two Ghanaian parents whose lives were influenced mainly by their deep faith in God and the rich African culture of community living. Highly spiritual, our parents raised us in the fear of the Lord and love for our neighbors.

My father’s resilient and competitive nature had no room for mediocrity, which pushed me to excel in every venture, resulting in the strong entrepreneur I am today. On the other hand, the kind-hearted nature of my mother, who would give her all to serve others, greatly influenced me to become a selfless leader, for which I’m so grateful.

My cultural background profoundly influences my love for people and cultures and propels me to encourage teams and individuals to strive for excellence and not settle for less. My Christian and community upbringing ingrained my three most fundamental core values: inspiration, connection, and community.

I incurred a considerable business loss of over three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) due to a bad real estate transaction in 2008 during the real estate market bubble burst. This devastating loss led me to sell most of my valuables, including my beautiful Condominium in Edison, New Jersey, yet the funds were not enough to cover the debt. The colossal debt landed me in a deep depression that seriously affected my health. I was financially broke and physically broken, thus consequently affecting my relationships and spiritual life.

During this devastating period, I began to appreciate the importance of money in one’s life. Having no money and being in debt is something I wish for nobody, not even my worst enemy. Though money is not the answer to everything as they say, I came to realize that it really does answer a lot of things that poverty cannot - pay the bills, put food on the table, and maintain a lifestyle of abundance without compromising quality time with your family.

After a few years of struggle, I worked my way back financially and started seeing real progress within the first year, which felt so good. However, due to my lack of understanding of money, though I earned it, I could not keep it, let alone make it grow and work for me. It was after a series of earning and losing that I discovered the simple but profound money principles that America’s wealthiest families have used for generations to protect their wealth and pass it on.

This discovery resulted in my passion to empower America’s Middle Class to live their best lives by understanding money, how it works, how to make it work for them, and how to protect and transfer wealth, while reducing their tax burden.

My quest to transform lives in my community led to the creation of this powerful platform, Royal Eagles Leadership Development, which has created several leaders across the country who are dedicated to enlighten their communities on money.

This platform has helped several professionals in our communities move past financial distress and work toward greater peace of mind for themselves and their families. Individual results vary based on each person’s own circumstances and effort.
